The Balancing Touch has been owned and operated by Ruth for over 27 years and is conveniently located five minutes from downtown Akron in Historic North Hill.
Ruth is a graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science in Community Health.
She is a Licensed Massage Therapist and is certified in Deep Tissue Therapy and Polarity Therapy. Ruth has also done extensive study in CranioSacral Therapy, Myofascial Release, and Earth & Amano-Huna Energy Therapies.

Ruth’s local clients travel from as far as Cleveland for her ‘Balancing Touch’. She also has clients from California to Florida who make it a point to visit whenever they are in town. Additionally, several entertainers, while here to perform at the Blossom Music Center, have called on Ruth for the exceptional care she provides.
Her holistic approach and long standing experience in service to the well being of others is truly a testament to her work.
